What’s this? A song from the Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie Smith collab that doesn’t sound a club mix of John Cage’s 4:33? Sure, the beats might be almost inaudible until half way through and compared to most songs it’s about as sparse as Charlie Sheen’s job offers (although, keep in mind, he is winning) but really it’s as close to a -shudder- “club banger” as “We’re New Here” gets. From it’s 90’s house chord progression to surprise hand claps it’s the very definition of a good time, not to mention this swanky video it’s just gone and got about a girly boxer who’s also a mum (who wudda thought it?). Anyway it’s really good and you should watch it, okay?
