Washed Out – Feel It All Around

Boasting an awkwardly, not-as-clever-as-it-thinks-it-is, moniker, the slowly expanding ”glow-fi” scene and its music also has problems in the live arena. Best illustrated in some of the most awkward dancing/swaying/flailing since a Drums gig in the above video. Although creating some of the most interesting music of 2010 so far, no one is really sure how you’re supposed to behave, it’s just dance enough, you can sort of rave, but too chilled to actually put moves into practice without looking like a slow motion epileptic. In a nutshell Glow-Fi is sort of like stirring a cup of tea with a glowstick. Regardless the above performance from Washed Out (backed by Small Black) is a hefty chunk of tranqulised, synthesized disco ergo very good.
