Sufjan Stevens announces 'The Age Of Adz', puts out a new song

Remember that dream you had about Sufjan Stevens ditching his expansive, orchestrated sound and traded it in for that of electronic beats and synthesized soundscapes? Well, get ready for a serious case of  Déjà vu because he’s only gone and announced “The Age Of Adz” which features exactly those aforementioned properties. Which makes the “All Delighted People EP” seem somewhat of an epic send off, doesn’t it? I guess when it rains Sufjan news, it pours.

Along with the news of a forthcoming full length LP (his first for 5 years, I’ll have you know) we also have an entirely new song to listen to in preparation for that here-before-you-know-it October 11th release date, it’s called “I Walked” and you can hear it above.
