I’ve been ignoring your needs, faithful reader. Every night, we climb in to bed together and I turn my back, start looking at pictures of Chad Kroeger on my phone and wish you’d stop touching me. For that, I am sorry, my status as a primarily text based lover is in tatters. There are, however, some reliable people out there, a few wild individuals who will always deliver upon to you a piece of their beauty within a reasonably timely matter. Nick Cave is one of those people, a man who has released no less than 32 albums (admittedly, 12 of those were soundtracks) within his glorious career. Yes, despite packing the bags of his wonderful middle age crisis side project Grinderman, Cave and Co are not done with the whole music thing, no, far from it in fact, because the group have just announced their 15th record under the Bad Seeds moniker, a child they’re calling ‘Push The Sky Away’  and their first since 2008’s really-properly-brilliant Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!. These times of excitement call for one thing, and one thing only, a good old fashioned track listing.

1. We No Who U R
2. Wide Lovely Eyes
3. Water’s Edge
4. Jubilee Street
5. Mermaids
6. We Real Cool
7. Finishing Jubilee Street
8. Higgs Boson Blues
9. Push The Sky Away

Push The Sky Away is due to arrive on the 18th of Feburary in the U.K and the day after in the United States of the USA, where it will be available in a astonishingly cool looking deluxe set (CD, LP, 2 x 7″, DVD, Book, Cert. of authenticity, exclusive liner notes) for £90, a still cool CD/DVD/BOOK combo for £16 and the CD or Vinyl options for those who hate extra things. They’re all available to pre-order here, so, you know, do it. In the mean time, observe the album’s perfect artwork and catch a short glimpse of the making of PTSA above.
