I think it’s a testament to the lungs of that child that it’s managed to stay entirely static underwater for 20 years now, a feat made even more impressive by the fact that he hasn’t aged a single day. Remarkable really. Now, I’m not saying that’s the only reason they’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of their critical and commercial breakthrough Nevermind, but it’s probably the most impressive. So what does 20 years of people only knowing “Smells Like Teen Spirit” get you? Well, from the looks of it, the SUPER DELUXE EDITION (Cue Kurt Cobain’s lifeless corpse vomiting) will get you not only 4 CD’s compromising of  unreleased tracks, rarities, B-sides, alternative mixes & BBC Live recordings; but will also land you a DVD with a previously unreleased and complete Nirvana concert.

So what does this form of musical luxery set you back? I don’t actually know, but it’s probably somewhere north of the current resale value. Look out for it on the 20th of September in the US and a whole 24 hours earlier in the UK.
