Fans of Pulp you can stop trawling the net for tweed blazers, and guides for crash diets now, as former frontman Jarvis Cocker has put a halt to the news that Pulp would be reforming and playing the 40th anniversary Glastonbury next year. Speaking to Teletext news Cockles proclaimed

”I can categorically tell Teletext that Pulp have no plans to get back together, someone asked me if I fancied playing at the 40th anniversary of Glastonbury, I said yes, they twisted that into a ‘Pulp reform’ story. It’s not true.”

At least it’s refreshing to see a band against reforming just for a pay-cheque, unlike a certain other 90’s Britpop band, eh Damon?
